We make a Chicken Rappie Pie / Râpure au Poulet. Grated potato with all liquid and starch removed and replaced with a tasty homemade chicken broth. Then in a stainless steel pan made for Rappie Pie / Râpure, we pour a layer of wet potato, a layer of fresh cooked chicken and another layer of wet potato on top. Then we place thin strips of salted pork back to lay on the top of this dish and it bakes in a 400 degree f oven for the entire morning. It's ready to be served at noon EVERY SUNDAY. Come with an appetite, as our portions are generous. It takes approximately 5 hours to prepare this dish so PLEASE MAKE A RESERVATION for Rappie Pie preferably on Saturday. It is ready to be served at 12 noon every Sunday. You can call us on a Sunday. There is a chance we may have some left.
Fresh haddock deep fried on our homemade crispy batter on a bun with our homemade tartar sauce and lettuce. Served with hand-cut fries and our homemade coleslaw.
